Our Story

Photo2Pendant jewelry is designed and manufactured from start to finish in North America. We started our business to serve a missing niche market for high-end high-quality laser engraved photo reproductions of your loved ones you can wear. We loved the concept but noticed the market only offered low quality-grainy image reproductions in addition to no options for high value metals like 18k gold and platinum. As we delved deeper into the technology it became clear why our competitors were facing challenges in producing a clear image and we made it our goal to find a solution. After many months of trail and error we developed our proprietary formula which is our trade secret in high resolution photo-to-laser engraving.

The Process From Order to Production

1) You choose your pendant and we receive your order 

• • • You will receive an email from us within 24 hours on how to upload your photo.  You may also email us your photo after placing you order to info@photo2pendant.com 
    • We offer a free message to be engraved on the rear of the pendant. If you choose this option please include it with your photo. (Large pendant 3 lines max 12 characters per line, Small pendant 2 lines max 8 characters per line)

2) Our editing team gets straight to work and starts preparing your photo for laser engraving (please allow up to five days for production due to its custom nature)

3) We print your photo on your pendant 

4) We email you a photo of the final result for your approval

5) We prepare your package for shipping (maximum time from production to shipping is 7 days)

How To Care For Your Laser Engraved Pendant

Following our care advice for your pendant ensures the engraving stays clear and maintains its shine for many years. Engravings are more susceptible to wear and damage compared to traditional jewelry designs and without proper care they can fade or become less distinctive over time.

Recommendation For Care

1) Remove jewelry before going into chlorinated pools, hot tubs, showers, or applying perfumes directly onto the piece.

2) To prevent scratches and damage, wear the piece alone to prevent metal to metal contact with other jewelry. If you plan to use with other jewelry, we suggest using the pendant with a longer or shorter chain from other jewelry to prevent contact. Wearing your pendant normally with clothes or skin contact will not damage your pendant.

3) Handle with care when cleaning the engraved area. Even though your photo is permanently engraved we do not recommend forcefully wiping the actual engraved photo area with strong pressure, spraying cleaner directly onto your pendant, or using polishers since it can damage, scratch and wear down your photo.

4) Due to the nature of the laser engraving, you will find the engraved photo area stays clean with regular use but the surrounding gold and rear of the pendant can require cleaning to keep its shine.  To clean the surrounding area we recommend using a microfiber towel and gently wiping around your engraved photo trying to prevent contact with the photo. 

Use gentle jewelry cleaners like warm mild soap (avoid acidic cleaners) or even a dry cloth to clean your jewelry. Please don't spray cleaner directly onto your pendant but damp your microfiber cloth first and wipe your pendant gently.  Finish the cleaning by wiping down your pendant with a dry microfiber cloth.
